Hands On Kansas City is a program of the Volunteer Center of Johnson County that makes meaningful volunteer opportunities more accessible to active people with busy schedules. Our members primarily are working professionals between the ages of 25 and 45. However, our flexible approach to volunteering has a very broad appeal. As a result, membership age ranges from students to retired persons. We also provide family volunteer opportunities so members can volunteer with their children.

Working in teams headed by project leaders, we provide reliable and enthusiastic volunteers who work at projects for community service organizations throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Agencies that would like to submit a project for consideration need to fill out an interest form.

To become a Hands On Kansas City volunteer, please complete a registration form and return it to the Volunteer Center.
